Banyule’s Malahang Festival

We are thrilled to be participating in Banyule’s Malahang Festival, a celebration of community and wellbeing that takes place on Sunday 12th November 2023 from 10am – 4pm in Heidelberg West. Skye Children's Cooperative will be hosting an interactive "Gratitude Wall" at the festival, which is sure to be a highlight of the event.

Our Gratitude Wall will be interactive for young and old, with colorful markers, stickers, and other craft materials to decorate and personalise their gratitude messages. We will also provide prompts or suggestions for what they could write or draw on the wall, such as "What is something that made you happy today?" or "What is something you appreciate about your community?" This is a fantastic opportunity for festival-goers to express their appreciation for the world around them, connect with others, and build a sense of community.

Furthermore, the Gratitude Wall will have a photo booth area where festival-goers can take pictures with their messages and share them on social media. This is a great way to spread positivity and inspire others to think about the good things in life.

At Skye Children's Cooperative, we believe that gratitude is an important part of wellbeing. By focusing on the good things in life, we can bring joy and contentment to our daily lives. The Gratitude Wall is a fantastic opportunity for festival-goers to connect with others and build a sense of community. It's a chance to share positive experiences and uplift one another.

In addition to the Gratitude Wall, there will be many other fun and interactive activities at the Malahang Festival. Festival-goers can participate in various workshops, attend informative sessions, and engage in healthy and moving activities. It's a free and family-friendly event that celebrates the importance of community and wellbeing.

We invite you to come along and join us at the Malahang Festival on Sunday 12th November 2023 from 10am – 4pm. We can't wait to share the experience with you and to celebrate the importance of gratitude, community, and wellbeing together. See you there!
