Laura Heng is our 4-year-old teacher she has worked across various settings in the early years sector.

What started out as volunteer experience with young children in Singapore turned into a passion that led her to do her Master of Teaching in Melbourne.

This is her 4th year at Skye, and she is loving the collaborative partnerships with children, families and educators.

Laura’s interests include nature and sustainability, which she enjoys teaching through research, project work and hands-on experiences.

Her goal is to work alongside children as they develop lifelong skills for learning.

Laura is advocate for the sector engaging in critical reflection, professional learning and supporting research that builds her knowledge and that of the profession.
