Denise Douglas is a Diploma qualified professional Early Childhood educator at Skye Children’s Co-op who has been with us for 9 years and is currently working in the Swift Parrot’s room.

Denise’s fun loving, calm and welcoming nature promotes children’s agency as they explore their curiosity and extend their knowledge of the world around them.

Denise has been in the early childhood sector for over 30 years and in this time, she has pursued a myriad of different roles.

Denise’s passion for inclusion stems from her home life, having two neurodivergent children and learning to navigate their value in the world and has given her the empathy to invest in getting to know each child, their needs, strengths to ensure that they thrive in any learning environment.
